Nghe An: Drug dealer fired 5 shots at police to rescue his accomplices
(Baonghean.vn) - When surrounded by the police, Tho Pa Sau's accomplices used guns to fiercely fight back in an attempt to rescue their teammates but were unsuccessful.
The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has successfully broken up a drug trafficking ring from Laos to Nghe An, arrested one suspect, seized 15 heroin cakes, 2 kg of crystal meth, 8,000 synthetic drug pills and many related exhibits.
In early 2018, through the work of reviewing and grasping the situation, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department discovered a drug trafficking ring that illegally bought and sold large quantities of drugs from Laos to Que Phong district, Nghe An province for consumption in the lowlands.
At the end of March 2018, under the direction of the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police, Project 618H was established to fight, chaired by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Provincial Police.

At 7:30 p.m. on April 22, on the national highway in Na Puc village, Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district, two subjects were discovered illegally transporting drugs. The task force immediately launched an attack and arrested Tho Pa Sau (born in 1975), confiscating 15 heroin cakes, 2 kg of crystal meth, 8,000 synthetic drug pills, 400 USD and 2 mobile phones.
During the arrest, Tho Pa Sau and his accomplices fought back fiercely. The male subject accompanying Sau used a pistol to fire 5 shots at the arresting force to escape. With a determined and resourceful spirit, the working group was able to transfer the main subject to the investigation agency, ensuring the safety of the force.
At the investigation agency, Tho Pa Sau confessed that he is a Mong ethnic, residing in Minh Chau village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, and is currently a teacher at Tri Le 2 Primary School, Que Phong district.
Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate.
