Nghe An surveys and strengthens tourism connections with Dak Lak province and the Central Highlands region
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to promote and connect regional tourism, on the afternoon of November 9, 2020, a working delegation of Nghe An province led by Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of Nghe An Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion attended the Tourism Stimulus and Connection Program of Dak Lak province in Buon Ma Thuot city.
Ms. H' Yim Kdon - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee chaired the seminar. Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Department of Tourism (General Department of Tourism), representatives of the Tourism Associations of Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak provinces and travel businesses and agencies.

With the theme "Dak Lak - a safe, friendly and rich tourist destination with the identity of the Central Highlands ethnic groups", the Tourism Stimulus Program and the Tourism Connection Seminar of Dak Lak province were held tostrengthentravel connectionbetweenDak Lak provincekwith the Central Highlands and North Central regions. The main purpose is to promote and advertise to restart tourism activities at the end of 2020 to overcome the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

At the conference, along with pointing out the difficulties, representatives of provinces, tourism associations and travel agencies together learned, shared and introduced specific and typical solutions and stimulus packages to restart regional and domestic tourism, and enhance the connectivity between provinces to develop tourism. Along with stimulating tourism, localities also promoted trade promotion activities and introduced the strengths of each locality.

Participating in the Seminar on connecting tourism with provinces, with its position as the center of the North Central region, Nghe An has recently had meetings and signed bilateral cooperation agreements with provinces in the Central region such as Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Dak Lak and initially the provinces have connected with the North Central region through Nghe An.

From the experience of tourism development in the locality as well as the Central provinces, Nghe An hopes and recommends that the provinces should open representative offices in each province to connect and strengthen communication coordination to introduce each other's strong tourism products. If the provinces in the region cooperate well, the provinces will exploit the potential, strengths of tourism and the characteristics of each locality, thereby promoting efficiency and reducing difficulties and impacts caused by Covid.
Immediately after the launching ceremony and the Tourism Connection Seminar, a number of tourism cooperation agreements were signed between businesses from the Central Highlands provinces and the North Central provinces.
