Towards the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Party Congress, cadres, party members, soldiers and people of Nghe An province have had many activities and emulation movements to enthusiastically study and follow Uncle Ho, promote socio-economic development; ensure national defense and security.

The 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday is an opportunity for the Party Committee, army and people of Nghe An to once again honor his life and career for the nation, the Fatherland and his homeland.

This is also an opportunity to raise the responsibility of each cadre, party member, the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people in implementing his Testament; studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh; firmly pursuing the goal of national independence and socialism; firmly pursuing the Party's renewal policy, uniting in spirit, determination and aspiration to build and develop Nghe An province - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh to be rich, strong and civilized.

UNITY, EFFORT, DETERMINATION TO REALIZE UNCLE HO'S WISH

At this solemn and meaningful ceremony, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee gave an important speech, reviewing the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh - a genius leader, great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, national liberation hero, outstanding cultural figure, and outstanding son of Nghe An.

Under the leadership of President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam, our revolution has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, going from one victory to another.

President Ho Chi Minh not only left our nation a great career, but also left our entire Party, people and army a priceless spiritual heritage, which is Ho Chi Minh's thought.

Along with the nation’s common pride in Uncle Ho, Nghe An has a special pride, that is, it is his homeland. During his lifetime, with his immense love for the country and people, President Ho Chi Minh always reserved deep feelings for his homeland Nghe An.

“The affectionate image and the affectionate advice of Uncle Ho in the letters, telegrams, prefaces, and souvenirs that he left behind during his two visits to his hometown are always imprinted in our minds and become a great spiritual motivation for cadres, party members, people, and soldiers in the whole province to strive and make many worthy contributions to the common victory in the national liberation revolution, in the resistance wars to save the country as well as in the cause of protecting and building the country,” the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed.

Implementing his instructions and sending his deep affection to his homeland, including the last letter President Ho Chi Minh sent to the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An province on July 21, 1969 - this is considered his Will dedicated to his homeland - the province has achieved many results in many fields.

In particular, Nghe An has quickly entered the process of innovation, building its homeland to develop more and more. Recently, when implementing Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo and the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, Nghe An has achieved quite comprehensive achievements in all aspects.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed: In the coming time, the Party Committee and people of the whole province will continue to unite, strive to overcome difficulties, determined to fulfill Uncle Ho's wishes before passing away, to build "Nghe An to quickly become one of the prosperous provinces", this is also the desire of the Central Government and the people of the whole country, of the people of the province.

Accordingly, Nghe An continues to seriously and effectively carry out the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with implementing Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (12th tenure) on Party building and rectification.

Focus on performing well the task of Party building, building a clean, strong, streamlined, effective and efficient political system; building a contingent of cadres and Party members with qualities, capacity and prestige, equal to the task, closely attached to the people.

Strongly arouse the aspirations and will to rise of the entire political system and people, maximize potentials and strengths; actively and proactively integrate, cooperate, and effectively mobilize resources for development. Promote administrative reform, strongly improve the investment environment, and better serve the people and businesses.

Strengthening the implementation of social progress and equity, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; continuing to effectively implement the new rural construction program.

Focus on improving the quality of education and training, developing high-quality human resources to meet the development requirements of the province; taking care of training and nurturing the young generation; promoting innovation, strongly applying science and technology, especially the achievements of the fourth industrial revolution, creating new development momentum.

Promote the great national unity bloc, maintain political stability, ensure national defense - security, social order and safety. The province focuses on successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 and the 13th National Party Congress.

At the ceremony, Colonel Tran Huu Bao - Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former Political Commissar of Division 968, Military Region 4, spoke about the process of training and growing up in the military environment and until now, returning to civilian life to participate in activities of the Veterans Association, still deeply remembering Uncle Ho's teachings, to always be worthy of the noble title of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", soldiers of the people.

Comrade Phan Thi Quynh Trang - President of Vinh University Student Association gave a speech promising to try harder to be worthy successors of the glorious career that Uncle Ho and our Party have worked hard to cultivate and build./.
