According to the case file: At about 7:30 p.m. on June 11, 2018, Ha Anh Tuan (born in 1994, residing in Hamlet 2, Lac Son Commune, Do Luong District) was eating at the dining table in the yard with his mother, Nguyen Thi Minh (born in 1975), younger brother Ha Anh Dat (born in 2011) and Tuan's lover, Lo Thi Thu Ha (born in 1995), residing in Tat Village, Yen Thang Commune, Tuong Duong District.
