Nghe An launches 'All people participate in supporting the prevention and fight against Covid-19'

Nghe An Newspaper introduces the full text of the Appeal:

Dear compatriots, soldiers of the province and children of Nghe An far from home!

With the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", for more than 2 months, with the efforts, joint efforts and consensus of the entire political system, the participation of the entire army and the entire people, we have been and are controlling the Covid-19 epidemic, which has been highly appreciated by the international community, and the people agree, acknowledge and trust in the leadership of the Party and the State. We are proud and extremely grateful for the response, sharing and joint contributions of businesses, artists, doctors, teachers, journalists, scientists, workers and all sectors and classes in society to the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, especially the selfless sacrifice of the medical team, doctors, officers, soldiers of the armed forces, customs... on the front line against the epidemic, who have been almost exhausted, staying up all night to receive, review and serve cases that need to be isolated and treated.

However, the Covid-19 epidemic continues to develop in a complicated and unpredictable manner and may last for a long time, making it difficult to predict the exact end time, greatly affecting the tasks of economic and social development, national defense, security, foreign affairs and people's lives, so we need to be constantly vigilant, absolutely not subjective or contemptuous in this fight.

Along with the whole country, up to this point, Nghe An province has received and quarantined nearly 1,300 cases according to regulations. It is predicted that the number of Nghe An children returning from abroad to the locality that must be quarantined is very large (possibly up to thousands of people), while the conditions of facilities and equipment are still lacking, the province's budget is limited, making it very difficult to prevent and control the epidemic.

- To continue to work with the Party and State to focus on epidemic prevention and control, to increase resources to create combined strength, strengthen epidemic prevention and control measures, ensure social security, safety of life and health for the people; in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province earnestly calls on agencies, units, enterprises, philanthropists inside and outside the province, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and all compatriots, with affection, compassion, responsibility to the community, to actively participate in supporting epidemic prevention and control.Supporting the prevention and control of Covid-19, with all the spirit: "Supporting the prevention and control of Covid-19 is both a sentiment and responsibility to the community, and also protecting yourself, your family, your agency, and your unit".
