Nghe An discovers 5 bus drivers testing positive for drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - Through periodic health checks for fixed-route drivers, Nghe An discovered 5 drivers tested positive for drugs and 1 case of poor health. The Department of Transport has directed the employer to terminate the contract.
Recently, the Department of Transport coordinated with the Nghe An Automobile Transport Association to organize health check-ups for drivers.
In the first phase, 500 fixed-route drivers, contracted vehicles, and tourist vehicles of all passenger transport businesses in the province were given health checks.

As a result, 5 drivers tested positive for drugs and 1 case of poor health. The Department of Transport has directed the employers to terminate the contracts.
A representative of the Department of Transport said: Organizing periodic health check-ups for drivers is a regular activity. Recently, the Nghe An Department of Transport has been assessed by the Ministry of Transport as one of the units that effectively carry out periodic health check-ups for drivers.
This is the 6th year that the Department of Transport has coordinated with a number of Nghe An Automobile Transport Associations to organize periodic health check-ups for drivers in the area.
