At the time of inspection, Lan Thao private pharmacy (126 Ly Tu Trong, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city) under the name of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong committed the following violations: Taking advantage of the epidemic situation to sell masks at a higher price than the regulations (the selling price reported by people was 5,000 VND/piece, equivalent to 250,000 VND/box of USA Pro brand masks); Not posting prices of goods according to regulations; Not presenting input invoices for all types of goods; The professional manager was absent without authorizing a person with equivalent professional qualifications.

Accordingly, Market Management Team No. 3 and the authorities have temporarily detained documents related to the pharmacy; temporarily detained 5 boxes of USA Pro brand masks (equivalent to 250 pieces) to clarify violations and impose penalties according to regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Captain of Market Management Team No. 3, Nghe An Market Management Department said: “In the current complicated epidemic situation, the market for masks and hand sanitizers is in turmoil. In order to stabilize the market and ensure consumer rights, the mobile forces of the Market Management Teams will strengthen inspection, control and handle acts of hoarding and increasing the selling prices of "hot" items such as masks and medical hand sanitizers".
