(Baonghean.vn) - After discovering that 2 students returning from the dormitory of Vietnam - Korea College had Covid-19, due to losing track of F0, Nghe An Department of Health is urgently looking for people who have been to this school recently to quarantine.
On August 19, the Nghe An Department of Health issued a document on reviewing and making a list of people who have been to/returned from the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College (Vietnam - Korea College) to implement epidemic prevention measures. This move took place in the context of Yen Thanh district discovering 2 students of this college infected with Covid-19.
The leaders of Nghe An Department of Health said that both of these patients had complicated study and travel schedules and came into contact with many people in many localities, posing a very high risk of widespread disease spread.
Nghe An Department of Health requested Vietnam - Korea College to urgently review and make a list of all cases of students, staff, and teachers studying and working at the school from August 5 to August 18 to report to the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention of districts, cities, and towns to organize epidemiological investigation and centralized isolation according to current regulations.

In addition, the school is responsible for making a list of people who have worked or had contact with the above case from August 5 to August 18, reporting to the Medical Centers of districts, cities and towns to organize quarantine at home or place of residence within 14 days from the last day of returning from Vietnam - Korea College; taking samples for testing twice on the first day and the 14th day.
Nghe An Department of Health also requested the Medical Centers of districts, cities and towns to coordinate with Vietnam - Korea College to direct the review, guide the classification of subjects, organize the implementation of sample collection and isolation measures according to regulations.
Vietnam - Korea College is located on Ho Tong Thoc Street, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City. Principal Ho Van Dam said that the school started teaching more than 1,000 students from August 9. However, on August 16, when Vinh City implemented social distancing, the school temporarily stopped teaching and sent the students back to their hometowns. "The two patients in Yen Thanh are students who are studying for their graduation exams. They have only been in the dormitory for 7 days before the social distancing period and had to return to their hometowns. Now we don't know where the source of the infection came from," said Dr. Dam.
