Because the virus exists in the environment, it will break out when there are favorable weather conditions; moreover, during the recent Tet holiday, people slaughtered many pigs, causing the disease to spread. Therefore, in the constantly changing weather conditions, it is feared that this disease will continue to spread.
Nghe An currently has 343 communes in 21 districts, cities and towns that have gone 30 days without any new cases since the last infected pig was destroyed. There are currently 25 communes in 11 districts that have not gone 30 days without the epidemic: Quynh Luu (05 communes), Hoang Mai Town (05 wards), Thanh Chuong (02 communes), Nghi Loc (03 communes), Dien Chau (03 communes), Anh Son (02 communes), Yen Thanh (01 commune), Nghia Dan (01 commune), Do Luong (01 commune), Que Phong (01 commune), Ky Son (01 commune).
