Nghe An participates in the 2018 National Youth Petanque Championship
(Baonghean.vn) - The tournament attracted 155 athletes from 10 provinces and cities, including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu and host Dong Thap.
On July 22, at Petanque Stadium, Dong Thap Province Sports Talent School, the General Department of Sports and Physical Training in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap Province jointly organized the 2018 National Petanque Championship for Youth and Teenagers.

At this tournament, athletes compete in 2 age groups: 11 to 16 years old, competing in 6 events (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men's technique, women's technique) and 17 to 20 years old competing in 8 events (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, men's trios, women's trios, men's technique, women's technique).

The 2018 National Petanque Championship for Youth and Teenagers is a national sports tournament in the annual national high-performance sports competition program; in response to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"; developing the movement of participating in Petanque training and competition nationwide, creating conditions for young athletes to compete and improve their professional skills.
The 2018 National Petanque Youth Championship will take place until July 29, 2018.
