At 12:30 p.m. on April 27, in Tan Tien block (Le Mao ward), the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team (Vinh City Police) caught Quach Huu Viet, born in 1990, residing in block 2, Mai Hung ward (Hoang Mai town) for illegally buying and selling drugs.

Amount of crystal meth seized

At the scene, the police seized 0.5 kg of crystal meth from Viet. At the police station, Quach Huu Viet confessed that he had brought the crystal meth to Vinh to sell to a man named Ha. When Viet brought the drugs near Vinh market and called a man named Ha to pick them up, he was discovered by the police and the man named Ha ran away.
