Nghe An: Another male student tragically drowned
(Baonghean.vn) - 11 students from Thanh Long Secondary School, Thanh Chuong District went swimming in Lam River, one of them drowned and died.
According to Mr. Tran Tri Tue - Chairman of Thanh Long Commune People's Committee, on the afternoon of November 20, 11 students of class 9A, Thanh Long Secondary School went swimming in Lam River, passing through Hamlet 2.
While bathing, two children, Phan Van Binh and Tran Viet Hung, suddenly drowned.

Seeing Binh and Hung cry for help, the other swimmers tried to save their friend but only saved Binh while Hung unfortunately died. Upon receiving the bad news, Hung's family and relatives went to the river to search for him and reported to the authorities.
About 4:00 p.m. after receiving the news, the local leadership sent forces to coordinate with local people to use nets and fishing rods to search, but by 7:30 p.m. the same day, Hung's body had not been found.
