Nghe An: Highlights on August 23
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 22, after the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Vinh City to raise epidemic prevention work to a higher level than Directive 16, the leaders of Vinh City People's Committee immediately issued, adjusted, and supplemented a series of documents to deal with the complexity of the situation. On the people's side, most of the city's residents have a high awareness of the risks of the Covid-19 epidemic, so they have complied with the regulations quite well.
*SOn August 23, Nghe An Center for Disease Control (CDC) informed: Within 12 hours (from 6:00 p.m. on August 22 to 6:00 a.m. on August 23), Nghe An19 new positive patients recordedwith Covid-19. Of these, 13 cases were previously quarantined. According to statistics as of the morning of August 23, the whole province had 939 people infected with Covid-19, of which Vinh City alone had 244 cases.
