Nghe An: Highlights on January 27

*SOn January 27, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center held an online meeting for the whole province toimplementing measures to prevent and combat Covid-19during the 2022 Lunar New Year. At the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: We do not prohibit or create favorable conditions for people to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet, but require people to proactively and strictly implement regulations on disease prevention and control; encourage citizens to self-test, and when there are signs of suspected Covid-19 infection such as cough, fever, difficulty breathing..., they must limit contact and immediately contact medical facilities for timely treatment measures.

*COn the same day, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visitedHappy New Year to the Provincial Border Guard Command and online exchangewith the teams and posts to prevent and fight the Covid-19 pandemic and to be ready to fight on the provincial border. *COn the afternoon of January 27, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation and the Automobile Transport Association of Nghe An province to organize"Bring Tet Home" program2022. The program has given away more than 130 gifts and arranged 4 free buses to bring workers, young workers, and students from Nghe An far from home home to celebrate the traditional New Year and reunite with their families.

The Central Youth Union has sponsored free air tickets for many disadvantaged people to return to their hometowns during Tet. Nghe An Provincial Youth Union also coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation and Nghe An Automobile Transport Association to organize free trips, promptly helping and sharing with disadvantaged cases, bringing Tet to many families across the province as the name of the program implies. *Ndays before Tet,Vinh streets become more bustling than usual, markets, supermarkets, flower and ornamental plant shops are crowded with shoppers. A merchant said: "After a year of struggling due to the epidemic, the market is deserted, so we are very happy to see so many customers at the end of the year...".

*BDespite the ban to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, the owner of Bich Tien Karaoke Bar, in Block 4, Cau Giat Town (Quynh Luu District) still welcomed guests to sing. In 1 week, this bar was raided twice by Quynh Luu District Police.make a record of administrative violations.
