Nghe An currently has 47 ethnic groups living together with more than 491,000 people, accounting for 14.76% of the province's population and 40.93% of the population in mountainous areas; in which ethnic minorities with a high proportion are: Thai, Tho, Kho Mu, Mong, O Du.

On July 28, 2021, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Project 01-DA/TU on compiling and publishing propaganda materials, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle for ethnic minorities in Nghe An province.

The goal is that through disseminating the content of the document, ethnic minorities will better understand Uncle Ho's great contributions to the country and his feelings and wishes for ethnic minorities in our country, including ethnic minorities in Nghe An province. From there, people will continue to study and follow Uncle Ho's instructions, always strive to study, work, and produce to progress and develop faster.

During the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presented the draft document of the Project to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

After many discussions of delegates, concluding the conference, Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy assessed that the Steering Committee, the Editorial Board, the Support Team, and the Appraisal Council had implemented the work methodically, with a fairly thorough, strict, and practical process. *Also at the April working session, the Provincial Party Standing Committeeapproved investment policy for export footwear production projectnearly 600 billion VND in Quynh Luu. This project is implemented in Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district with a total investment of 593.209 billion VND, when put into operation, it will create jobs for about 8,000 workers.

The project is invested by May Thinh Phat Joint Stock Company, with an operating period of 50 years from the date of land lease decision.

The goal is to provide footwear products, footwear materials and accessories for the footwear industry to the market, with a capacity of 10 million products/year. The investment scale of the project includes a system of 6 factories, offices, rest houses, workers' canteens... and technical infrastructure, auxiliary works deployed on a total area of ​​98,761m2.

The investor will complete investment procedures in the third quarter of 2023, then start construction and put the project into operation in the fourth quarter of 2024.
