Nghe An receives 209 citizens from Laos to centralized quarantine area
(Baonghean.vn) - Of these, 196 citizens are students and postgraduates studying at universities in Vietnam and 13 citizens are Vietnamese people working and living in Laos.
Yesterday afternoon and night (September 10), at two quarantine areas at Nghe An College of Education and Nghia Dan District Medical Center, Vinh City People's Committee and Nghia Dan District People's Committee received 209 citizens returning from Laos.quarantine areathrough Nam Can Border Gate (Ky Son).
Among them are 196 students and postgraduates studying at universities in Vietnam and 13 Vietnamese citizens working and living in Laos.

Before the citizens entered the centralized quarantine area, the units coordinated with the medical center to spray disinfectant and check body temperature according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health. Thanks to good preparation work such as facilities and personnel, the reception process was implemented quickly and according to procedures.
Thus, as of 9:00 a.m. on September 11, phase 2 has been implemented.COVID-19 prevention, in Nghe An, 6,431 citizens returning from countries and regions with epidemics have been quarantined. Among them, 1,566 are students and postgraduates from Laos studying at universities in Vietnam. 5,979 citizens have completed the quarantine period and tested negative for Covid-19.
Currently, in Nghe An, only 452 citizens are being quarantined at 5 centralized quarantine areas of the province.
