Nghe An organizes an online book promotion and introduction contest in 2023

The online book promotion and introduction contest is a practical activity to promote, popularize and introduce popular books about the beauty of the country and people of Vietnam.

Through the contest, affirm the position, role, and good values ​​of reading culture in improving the capacity of Vietnamese people to access information and knowledge, contributing to improving people's knowledge, developing thinking, creativity, nurturing personality and soul, enhancing awareness of law compliance, forming a healthy lifestyle for the young generation, and promoting the building of a lifelong learning society.

The contest is open to primary, secondary and high school students currently studying at schools in Nghe An province.

The theme of the contest is “Vietnam - Country - People”. The contestants and groups of contestants are required to introduce the content and share their feelings about a work or a series of works that have inspired, spread knowledge, aroused the desire to contribute, love for the homeland, country, and Vietnamese people, and made positive contributions to society.

Contestants will participate by creating book introduction videos. Contestants can participate individually or in groups. Videos that meet the requirements will be posted publicly on the Facebook fanpage of Nghe An Provincial Library for voting.

Voting results will be calculated by the total number of likes + total number of views + shares on the fanpage of Nghe An Provincial Library.

The results of the 2023 Nghe An Province Online Book Promotion and Introduction Contest are organized through a combination of the Jury's evaluation and online voting of the videos participating in the contest on the Nghe An Provincial Library's fanpage. The total score of the entry is calculated based on the total number of votes from the online community and the Jury's scoring results.

Time to receive video entries from October 1, 2023 to October 30, 2023. Summary and award ceremony: Expected at the end of November 2023 in Vinh city.
