To continue implementing the 2019-2020 school year plan, the Department of Education and Training has just issued instructions to units on organizing teaching and learning during the time students return to school after the Covid-19 epidemic prevention break and testing and evaluating students in the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year.
In particular, educational institutions are required to arrange appropriate time to review, revise, and consolidate knowledge and skills in the parts that students have learned so that they can learn new lessons effectively; continue to teach the content that has not been implemented after adjusting the teaching content, ensuring the completion of the program according to the adjusted school year schedule; review and adjust the review plan for students in grades 9 and 12 to suit the actual situation and ensure the wishes of students.
The number of regular and periodic tests and exams will also be reduced by 1/3 of the scores in accordance with the actual number of teaching weeks reduced in semester 2 from 5 - 7 weeks/17 weeks.
