Nghe An: 257 F1 cases of 5 community Covid-19 infections in Quynh Luu district were identified

Morning of October 29,Nghe An8 new Covid-19 infections were recorded, including 5 community cases in Quynh Luu district.

Specifically, the 5 infected cases are members of one family, including parents and 3 children, residing in Van Hoc hamlet, Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district.

Immediately after receiving the test results, Quynh Bang commune locked down 16 households on National Highway 48E, in Van Hoc and Chi Thanh hamlets with about 90 people, and at the same time sprayed disinfectants and took samples for testing from people in the area.

GovernmentQuynh Bang communeAccording to the initial epidemiological investigation, of the 5 new Covid-19 cases, there are 3 students in 3 classes, so the number of F1s who are students in the same class and teachers is relatively large. Up to now, the locality has identified 257 F1 cases of the 5 F0s mentioned above, of which more than 100 F1s are students and teachers of the school.

The locality has also arranged centralized quarantine sites including Quynh Bang Kindergarten and a motel in the area. Depending on the number of new contact cases detected after tracing, Quynh Bang commune will arrange 2 more hotels and a primary school as quarantine sites to ensure safety.

1. BN H. D. N, male, born in 1982. Address: Van Hoc hamlet, Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district. The patient had a cough and sore throat. On October 28, the patient went to Quang Thanh General Hospital for examination. Here, the patient's sample was taken for a rapid test with a positive result. After that, the patient's sample was sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital for testing with a confirmed positive result for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. Patient NT D, female, born in 1986. Address: Van Hoc hamlet, Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district. The patient is the wife of patient H. D. N who was announced at the same time. The patient had a cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. On October 28, the patient went to Quang Thanh General Hospital for examination. Here, the patient's sample was taken for a rapid test with a positive result. After that, the patient's sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital for a confirmed positive result for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. BN HTN L, female, born in 2006. Address: Van Hoc hamlet, Quynh Bang commune, Quynh Luu district. The patient is the daughter of patient H. D. N and patient NT D who were announced at the same time. Immediately after the patient's parents had positive rapid test results, the patient's sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the morning of October 29, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
