Nghe An builds backup plan for 2020 high school graduation exam
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the direction of the Director of the Department of Education and Training after inspecting the preparation for the high school graduation exam at a number of exam locations in Vinh city.
On the afternoon of July 29, the Steering Committee for the 2020 High School Graduation Exam, led by Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh, inspected preparations for the 2020 High School Graduation Exam at a number of testing sites in Vinh City.

In Vinh city, there are 6 examination sites at Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Ha Huy Tap High School, Le Viet Thuat High School, Provincial Ethnic Minority High School, Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and Vinh University Specialized High School with 168 examination rooms and nearly 4,000 candidates.
It is expected that there will be 412 people working as invigilators and nearly 200 people working as service staff at the examination sites. At this point, preparations for the 2020 high school graduation exam at the examination sites have basically been completed.

In addition to fully preparing facilities and personnel, schools have also prepared conditions to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.
Working with the examination councils, the Director of the Department of Education and Training acknowledged the preparations of the schools. However, he also reminded the schools not to be subjective in the exam organization process. First of all, they need to fully equip the exam cabinets, exam paper cabinets and install enough cameras in the exam storage rooms according to regulations.

This is also a national graduation exam, so the Director of the Department of Education and Training noted that schools need to closely follow the exam regulations and comply with the guidance documents during the implementation process.
Especially at this time, when the Covid-19 epidemic is complicated, the Department requires schools to have backup plans such as preparing additional examination rooms to implement social distancing when necessary.

In addition, each testing site must be equipped with at least 5 thermometers to measure the body temperature of candidates before entering the testing room. Testing sites must also be ready to prepare hand sanitizer and necessary medicines to ensure that candidates have enough to use during the testing process.
Regarding this exam, the Ministry of Education and Training is planning to divide the subjects intoCandidates for the 2020 high school graduation exam are divided into 4 groups: F0, F1, F2 and other candidates. The grouping of candidates is to ensure the rights of students as well as the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic in the current period.

It is expected that the group of F0 candidates (who must be treated in the hospital and are not eligible to take the exam) will be considered for special consideration for high school graduation according to regulations. For the remaining groups, localities will consider arranging for them to take the exam at examination sites located in the quarantine area or suitable areas, adjacent to the quarantine area, or consider organizing the exam in the backup examination room of the examination site. If the number of candidates is large, a separate examination site will be organized and there will be a suitable plan to pick up and drop off candidates.
In Vinh city, each testing site currently has at least 5 test rooms reserved to deploy a backup plan to arrange test rooms for candidates who are subject to social distancing.
In the coming days, the Department of Education and Training will continue to closely monitor the epidemic situation and weather conditions to develop a contingency plan to both comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and reflect the regional characteristics of Nghe An./.
