Nghe An fined 5 cases of cycling for exercise during social distancing order

Information from the People's Committee of Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district said that on the afternoon of April 17, the People's Committee of the commune decided to impose administrative penalties on 5 cases of "going out in unnecessary cases" according to Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.

The cases include: C.Ng.Q (born in 1993); VVN (born in 1965); Ng.VL (born in 1972); Ng.VX (born in 1947); Ph.Th.L (born in 1970). All reside in Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district.

Mr. Dau Xuan Truong - Chairman of Dien Ky Commune People's Committee said: At the time of inspection, these cases were all cycling for exercise on the dike road from Dong Ky village to Dien Van commune, not maintaining the distance between people as prescribed.

The act of "not taking personal protective measures for people participating in epidemic prevention and people at risk of contracting the epidemic according to the instructions of health agencies" is stipulated in Point a, Clause 1, Article 11 of Decree 176/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions in the health sector, stipulating the level of warning or fine from 100,000 VND to 300,000 VND. The People's Committee of Dien Ky commune has decided to fine these 5 cases, each case 200,000 VND, and at the same time asked them to return home.

It is known that previously, Dien Ky commune also punished 9 cases of not wearing masks when going out, 4 people gathering to talk, 1 person not being quarantined at home when returning from the epidemic area and submitted documents to Dien Chau district People's Committee to punish 1 business establishment selling non-essential goods./.
