On February 5, the inspection team on compliance with discipline and administrative discipline of the province led by comrade Tran Quoc Chung - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs conducted surprise inspections at a number of agencies and units.

The team made a surprise inspection at the Forest Protection Department (under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development). The unit had 47 officers and civil servants at the time of the inspection at 7:55 a.m., of which 3 officers and civil servants were absent. Upon verification, they all had reasons.

Checking regulations on implementing office culture, the inspection team reminded the unit that it has not yet equipped nameplates on desks in some specialized departments; some officers and civil servants need to strictly follow the regulations on wearing uniforms of the industry when performing their duties.

Coming to inspect the Irrigation Sub-Department (under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), the unit has 66 officers and civil servants. Here, the inspection team assessed that the unit strictly followed the working time. The leaders of the Sub-Department thoroughly informed all officers and civil servants to immediately get to work, urgently and resolutely carry out the assigned tasks in accordance with the assigned tasks from the first day and the first month of the new year.

In particular, perform well the advisory work to assist the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in managing specialized fields such as irrigation, dykes, natural disaster prevention and clean water in rural areas according to the provisions of law.

In particular, monitor and update the situation of natural disasters; coordinate with sectors, organizations and localities to promptly have plans to handle incidents of irrigation works, dykes and handle situations and overcome consequences caused by natural disasters within the scope of management.

At the same time, strengthen the inspection of irrigation works to ensure irrigation for more than 250,000 hectares, solve drainage for 52,000 hectares of production area and provide water for economic sectors, serving people's lives, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.

A surprise inspection was conducted at Nghi Duc commune (Vinh city). At the time of the inspection, at 9am, the commune had 19 officials and civil servants, with 4 civil servants absent. The delegation directly verified the absent civil servants with reasons.

The inspection team assessed that Nghi Duc commune had issued a complete and timely monthly and yearly work plan; developed and issued additional documents on internal regulations, working regulations, internal spending regulations, and resolved administrative procedures at the commune level; the regulations on office culture and the operating regulations of the one-stop shop were promptly amended and supplemented.

At the same time, the delegation also requested Nghi Duc commune to remind some cadres and civil servants to strictly comply with regulations on wearing badges when performing duties; the work of archiving records needs to be more scientific.

At the inspected units, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Tran Quoc Chung said that checking the compliance with discipline and administrative discipline is a regular task. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the department's leaders continue to thoroughly educate cadres, civil servants and public employees to continue to strictly comply with discipline and administrative discipline; and office culture.
