Nghe An: Request to strictly handle violations in the entertainment project along Lam River
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 4523/UBND-CN (dated June 22, 2018) directing the request to stop the implementation of the "Project to build an entertainment and tourism complex along Lam River in Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City" invested by Nguyen Hung Development Investment Joint Stock Company.
Compared with the Law on Dikes, the above project violated a number of regulations. Through inspection, the handling was slow and not yet final, causing negative public opinion.

Faced with that reality, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong directed:
1. Assign the Department of Construction to urgently and seriously implement the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 4523/UBND-CN dated June 22, 2018; preside over and direct the Vinh City People's Committee and functional units to request investors to immediately dismantle construction items and works that violate legal regulations, and complete the report to the Provincial People's Committee before July 15, 2018.
2. Assign the Vinh City People's Committee to proactively coordinate with the Department of Construction to request the investor to correct violations, strengthen on-site supervision to ensure construction order until the investor completes the procedures to implement the project in accordance with regulations.
