Dancer Hoang Yen was honored as the outstanding artist of the year.

The program "Honoring outstanding artists and some outstanding books in the field of performing arts and literature in 2023" is organized with the desire to honor outstanding artists and writers in the performing arts industry and authors who have made many contributions to the literary career.

The program introduces and promotes to the public outstanding artists, actors, books, and musical products that are meaningful to the performing arts and literature. From there, it spreads and connects the feelings of artists, actors, and authors to the public; fosters trust and aspiration; encourages each artist and author to continue to work enthusiastically and contribute to the country's performing arts and literature.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee honored 87 outstanding artists and actors who won first prizes at talent competitions organized by the Department of Performing Arts in 2023 in the following art forms: drama; reformed opera; puppetry; classical opera and folk opera; cheo; dance; chamber music - musical theater - choir; autumn music; solo and ensemble of traditional musical instruments.

Artist Nguyen Thi Hoang Yen - Lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts, from Nghe An was honored as the outstanding artist of the year in the field of dance.

It is known that artist Hoang Yen is the daughter of People's Artist An Ninh andPeople's Artist Hong Luu.

In 2023, Hoang Yen was an assistant lecturer at the Dance Department of the Military University of Culture and Arts and achieved many achievements in professional work. Typically: First Prize in the National Dance Talent Competition with the works "Nam Phuong Mau Te" and "Dao Lieu". At the same time, she was also awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of National Defense; and was awarded the title of Advanced Soldier by the Principal of the Military University of Culture and Arts for her good achievements in the 2023 Emulation Movement.
