According to Nghi Loc District Police, in the first 6 months of 2018, the Traffic Police Team organized 262 patrols with 727 officers and soldiers participating. The team recorded 808 cases of administrative violations of traffic safety order.
The main violators are motorcyclists who speed, do not wear helmets, carry more passengers than allowed, run red lights, and do not have a driver's license.
The unit has issued a decision to impose administrative penalties and transfer to the State budget over 913,161 million VND.
In the first six months of this year, the district had 10 traffic accidents, injuring 9 people and killing 6. Compared to the same period last year, traffic accidents decreased in all three criteria. Specifically, the number of traffic accidents decreased by 1 case, the number of deaths decreased by 2 and the number of injuries decreased by 1 case.
