Nghi Loc: 75/76 food production facilities violate hygiene
(Baonghean.vn) -The Nghi Loc district interdisciplinary inspection team has just inspected 76 food production, processing and trading establishments in the area, detecting and handling 75 establishments violating food hygiene and safety.

Recently, Nghi Loc District People's Committee established 2 working groups including the district's interdisciplinary team and the district police team to coordinate with the commune delegation to inspect 76 food production, processing and grocery business establishments in 16 communes.

This time, the inspection team focused on checking administrative procedures and expiration dates of food items. After inspecting 76 establishments, 75 establishments violated the State's regulations on food safety, including: 14 grocery stores selling expired products, 9 grocery stores selling products of unknown origin, 24 establishments without health certificates or food safety knowledge certificates, 33 food service establishments without certificates of food safety eligibility.

The interdisciplinary team has drawn up administrative violation records and fined 75 violating establishments with a total fine of VND 105,900,000. In addition, the district police also confiscated and recorded the destruction of 8 tons of poor quality food of unknown origin, transported through the district./.
