Nghi Loc discovered a series of thefts of gasoline, oil, and property in the industrial park.
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghi Loc District Police have just discovered and arrested many subjects who caused dozens of thefts of gasoline, oil, and property in industrial parks.
On August 15, Nghi Loc District Police said that the District Police Investigation Agency in coordination with the Police of several communes in the area had successfully dismantled a ring specializing in oil theft in industrial parks and consumption of assets obtained from crime, initially arresting two subjects.
After a period of monitoring, on August 9, 2022, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Team broke up the case and arrested Chu Van Chuyen (born in 1982), residing in Dien Thap commune, Dien Chau district, for theft of property (oil theft).
Chuyen is currently a driver for a company located in Nam Cam Industrial Park. In addition to Chuyen, the police also arrested Nguyen Xuan Hai (born in 1991), residing in Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district, for the act of consuming property obtained by others through crime.

At the police station, Nguyen Xuan Hai initially confessed that he had colluded with drivers of companies in Nam Cam Industrial Park to buy stolen oil from drivers to sell for profit. The police also proved that from the beginning of June 2022 until now, Hai has carried out more than 20 cases of purchasing stolen oil from drivers with a quantity of oil of more than 1,000 liters. On July 31, 2022 alone, Nguyen Xuan Hai bought 560 liters of oil from Chu Van Chuyen that Chuyen stole from the company for 9.2 million VND.
The police seized evidence in the case including: 1 car, 4 100-liter oil drums; 20 20-liter plastic cans for storing oil; 4 plastic pipes for pumping oil; more than 21 million VND in cash and other evidence and documents related to the case.
Also in Nghi Loc, on August 10, 2022, the District Police successfully arrested the above 3 subjects for theft of property (stealing mobile phones). Subject Nguyen Van Cay is a construction worker at an industrial park in the area, the remaining 2 subjects are under 18 years old.
Initially, the police agency proved that the 3 subjects had committed at least 4 cases of stealing mobile phones from construction workers and local residents; confiscated 7 mobile phones and other related documents./.
