The determination to overcome difficulties of a 1 meter tall boy

(Baonghean.vn) - Although only 1m tall and weighing over 20kg, the "tiny" boy Nguyen Van Minh has built a stable foundation, a happy family and a cute son.

Nguyen Van Minh is the youngest son in a family of four siblings, both of whose parents are farmers in Hamlet 6, Hoi Son Commune, Anh Son District. From the moment he was born, Nguyen Van Minh had a "deformed" body due to a motor system defect. Now 33 years old, Minh is only about 1 meter tall. Since childhood, Minh has had to face one pain after another.

Seeing their son sick all the time, Minh's parents took him everywhere for treatment but his illness did not improve. At the age of 6, seeing his friends going to school, Minh insisted on asking his parents to let him go to school. And so, throughout his school years, people saw the image of a tiny student sitting on the back of his friends' bikes to school, rain or shine.

When he first started school, Minh was teased by his friends for being a dwarf and a little kid. Many times, he thought about dropping out of school. But with the encouragement of his parents and many friends, Minh decided to continue going to class.

Throughout all three levels of education, Minh has been an excellent student for many years. With a passion for exploring electronic devices since childhood, after finishing grade 12, in 2006 Minh registered to study electronics repair at Vinh Technical Pedagogical College.

After 18 months of accumulating knowledge at school, he returned home and opened an electronics repair shop at home. At first, the shop was small and not many people knew about it, but he proved his ability with his carefulness, skill, quality and reputation, so the number of customers coming to his shop increased day by day.

Loved and trusted by customers, Nguyen Van Minh has invested in and purchased equipment for the store and regularly updated information online to supplement his knowledge. Currently, in addition to repairing at the store, he is willing to go to each family's house to do the installation for them.

Happiness in life smiled once again when Minh fell in love with the girl Dang Thi Ly. Minh confided: "Through conversations, I knew Ly was not like other women, she knew how to sympathize and share my situation. In June 2010, their wedding was held. On the wedding day of Minh "short", relatives, friends, and neighbors came to attend and filled the street to welcome the bride and groom in the special wedding.

Minh's wife, Dang Thi Ly, confided: "Although he is physically handicapped, he is very affectionate, gentle and hard-working. Admiring his will and determination, I am determined to spend the rest of my life with him to overcome difficulties together."

Now, the small house of Nguyen Van Minh and Ms. Dang Thi Ly is always filled with laughter when welcoming a new member. The handsome son Nguyen Van Anh Quan born in October 2015 is the endless happiness of the couple. Now looking at the happy family of Minh "short", everyone in the village admires and praises.
