Suspect holding gun and barricading himself in was charged with 3 crimes
After 5 days of being arrested, Dinh Ngoc Le Hoang Anh - the suspect who robbed a motorbike and held a gun in a house in Long Khanh City, was prosecuted for 3 crimes.
The defendant has 3 previous convictions for "Intentionally causing injury", "Robbery", "Theft of property" and has been a drug addict for many years.

According to the investigation, in early November, Hoang Anh ordered an air gun online from a northern province for 4 million VND. On the morning of November 7, while he was at a motel in Quang Trung Commune, Long Khanh City, the police asked him to check his papers because they detected suspicious signs.
Hoang Anh then took a gun and ran out into the street to control people and steal his motorbike, then ran to his mother's house in Xuan Bac commune, Xuan Loc district. After a fight with his brothers, he controlled his younger brother and took him away in a truck.
Arriving at Bau Coi market, Bao Quang commune, Long Khanh city, Hoang Anh’s car was stopped by the traffic police. He ran into a house, held a gun and threatened the female homeowner to steal her motorbike. While he was struggling to get the motorbike, this person ran out and locked the door.
Hundreds of police from many forces were mobilized to surround the house. The man made petrol bombs, fired many warning shots, and threatened to burn down houses. After more than 2 hours of persuasion, the police agreed to let his relatives take him home to "apologize to his mother". Seeing his younger brother coming on a motorbike, he took a gun and a homemade explosive and got on the motorbike. After only going about 10 meters, he was knocked down by special forces detectives from the surrounding area, took his gun, and arrested him.
