(Baonghean.vn) - 100% of the delegates of the 19th Nghia Dan District People's Council present agreed with the plan to merge the administrative units of Nghia Tan, Nghia Thang, and Nghia Lien into a new administrative unit, Nghia Thanh commune, with the new administrative headquarters located at the current Nghia Tan commune headquarters.
On the morning of August 27, the People's Council of Nghia Dan district held the 10th session (extraordinary session) of the 19th term, 2016 - 2021 term to discuss and pass a resolution to merge commune-level administrative units.
The district merged three communes of Nghia Thang, Nghia Tan, and Nghia Lien into a new administrative unit, Nghia Thanh commune, with an area of 25.29 km2.2and population 9,100 people. Through the results of the poll, voters of the 3 communes all agreed with a high percentage.
At the meeting, 100% of the delegates of the 19th Nghia Dan District People's Council present approved the plan to merge 3 commune-level administrative units including Nghia Tan, Nghia Thang, Nghia Lien into a new administrative unit, Nghia Thanh commune, with the new administrative headquarters located at the current Nghia Tan commune headquarters.
