Fishermen caught a rare large eel on Lam River
(Baonghean.vn) - A restaurant owner in Con Cuong town, Con Cuong district (Nghe An) has just bought a rare large eel, many curious people came to see.
On October 23, a fisherman in Tuong Duong district sold an 11kg eel to a restaurant in Con Cuong district town for 10 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tam - the person who bought the eel said that the fish was 1.5m long and was caught by fishermen on the Lam River on October 23.
According to Mr. Tam, fishermen in mountainous districts of Nghe An such as Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son often catch large eels during flood season, however eels weighing over 10kg are very rare.
"With a fish this big, the price is 1 million VND/kg, the bigger the fish, the higher the price" - Mr. Tam said.
