Anchovies are often used for steaming, drying for export, and processing fish sauce, so they have high economic value. Therefore, during the anchovy fishing season, dozens of fish processing factories for export in the area also work overtime. Mr. Nguyen Van Son - owner of a fish steaming factory in Quynh Lap commune said that every day, he steams and dries over 20 tons of fish, creating jobs for dozens of workers.
