Due to the continuous rain, people have encountered many difficulties in harvesting and transporting the corn home. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, a resident of Hamlet 1, Dien Nam, Ky Tan Commune, said: "This corn crop was heavily affected by the prolonged heat wave, so the yield has decreased significantly. Now the flood water is rising abnormally, so people have to try to salvage some of the money spent on seeds and fertilizers." Photo: Quoc Phong |
