Nghe An man hid 1 billion VND worth of drugs in the trunk of his motorbike
Ha Giong Ly (52 years old, residing in Nghe An) hid 6,000 synthetic drug pills in the trunk of his motorbike, traveling from Nghe An to Huong Son district to sell to a partner.

At around 10am on January 6, Ly was driving a motorbike on National Highway 8A through Son Le Commune (Huong Son District) when Ha Tinh Provincial Police in coordination with Huong Son District Police signaled him to stop for inspection on suspicion of transporting drugs. Ly turned around and tried to run away, but was stopped.
At the scene, police seized dozens of blue nylon bags containing 6,000 ecstasy pills from the motorbike’s trunk. Authorities determined that the synthetic drug batch was worth about 1 billion VND.
Ly confessed that on January 2, he went to Laos to buy drugs from a stranger, then brought them back to his house in Phu Quac 2 village, Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district (Nghe An), hid them, and then contacted a partner in Ha Tinh to sell them for profit.
