(Baonghean.vn) - A man in Dien Chau district was secretly delivering "hometown gifts" including 5 liters of alcohol through the fence to his family members who were in quarantine when he was discovered and arrested by security forces.
At 10:15 a.m. on April 6, the patrol team of Nghi Loc District Police and Nghi Phong Commune Police were on patrol outside the fence of Nghe An Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2, in Nghi An Commune, Vinh City - where 526 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad are being quarantined, when they discovered a man carrying a bag of belongings into the quarantine area for his family.

After being arrested, this man said his name was Ngo Sy B. (born 1988), residing in Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district. Checking his bag, the authorities discovered that in addition to dried fish and fruit, there were also 5 liters of white wine.
This man's actions violated the prohibition regulations of the Covid-19 quarantine area. If not detected in time, allowing this amount of alcohol to enter the quarantine area, there would be a risk of disrupting security and order here.
The authorities have drawn up a record and handed over the case to Nghi An Commune Police, Vinh City for handling according to their authority.
