Thai Hoa residents upset about power outages during hot days

(Baonghean.vn) - During hot days with high temperatures, the electricity industry in Thai Hoa town cut off power for long periods for repairs, making the local people very upset.

From August 11 to 14, people in the central area of ​​Hoa Hieu ward were upset because of long power outages.

Despite the announcement to customers, the power outage during the peak of the hot season has caused many difficulties for people in their daily lives. Some electricity users in the area said that the electricity industry is too mechanical in the repair process, cutting off power as soon as there is an announcement despite the hot weather.

While most localities in the country have plans to adjust schedules and limit power outages to serve repair work during hot days with high temperatures, Thai Hoa Town Electricity still cuts off power for major repairs.There are areas with power outages lasting up to 3-4 days continuously.

To ensure production during power outages, some units have had to invest in buying generators, however not everyone can afford to buy one.

Responding to customer inquiries, Mr. Hoang Son - Director of Thai Hoa Town Electricity said: "The power outage schedule has been sent to the dispatching department for permission. Before cutting off the power, we notified customers via text message 4-5 days in advance. The work required immediate repairs and we could not foresee the hot weather changes like this, so we hope customers understand."

It is known that from August 14 to 20, Thai Hoa Electricity stopped supplying electricity to some lines to continue repair work. Thai Hoa Electricity needs to have a solution to harmonize the interests between businesses and their customers, minimizing power outages on hot days./.
