Vinh City residents sign commitment to provide information about relatives abroad

On the afternoon of March 13, the People's Committee of Hong Son Ward (Vinh City) organized the distribution of more than 1,000 free masks at Vinh Market area to help traders and people prevent the spread of Covid-19. At the same time, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the ward distributed leaflets advising people to properly implement the epidemic prevention measures that are being disseminated.

In the same afternoon, members of the Steering Committee went to each block and each family with relatives living abroad and in areas with Covid-19 epidemics to mobilize them to sign a commitment to provide information and implement medical isolation to prevent the epidemic. The content of the commitment includes strictly complying with the provisions of the law on the prevention of infectious diseases.

Keep track of your relatives' health status, time and schedule of return; promptly report to the block and hamlet management board when your relatives are about to return. Self-isolate the whole family for 14 days at home, comply with medical supervision and follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.

Hong Son Ward is located in the city center, in the area there is Vinh market - the largest trading center in the province and the City Hospital, there are many citizens living abroad, if epidemic prevention is not implemented well, the risk of infection will be very high. Identifying this problem, the ward has promptly issued a plan, strengthened the Steering Committee, developed a plan to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, sprayed disinfectants at offices and schools and promoted propaganda to raise awareness among the people./.
