Bar employee kidnaps man for ransom
Mr. Khoa was kidnapped by Dinh, an employee of Gossip bar, and his family was asked to bring 5 million VND to ransom him back.
On the afternoon of April 1, Ca Mau City Police (Ca Mau Province) announced that they were temporarily detaining Bang Quoc Dinh (26 years old, residing in Tan Loc Commune, Ca Mau City); and at the same time, invited 4 subjects, including: Vo Thanh Long, Le Vo Anh Kiet, Vo Hoang Duy and Huynh Loan Thao, all residing in Ca Mau, to clarify the act of "Illegal detention".
Accordingly, at 7:30 p.m. on March 31, CS 113 received a report that Mr. To Dang Khoa (residing in Dam Doi district, Ca Mau province), was kidnapped by Dinh, an employee of Gossip bar, and asked his family to bring 5 million VND to ransom him back.

Upon receiving the news, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of Ca Mau Province Police, in coordination with professional units, organized an ambush to catch the perpetrator in the act.
Not long after, the police raided a rented room in Hamlet 3, Ward 6 (Ca Mau City), catching Dinh red-handed receiving 5 million VND from an acquaintance of Mr. Khoa. At the scene, in addition to Dinh, the police also invited 4 related subjects, Long, Kiet, Duy and Thao, to the headquarters for questioning.
Checking Dinh's room, authorities seized 2 machetes, 1 motorbike, and some related evidence.
Quickly exploited, Dinh admitted to having committed the act of holding Mr. Khoa to demand ransom but was caught red-handed.
