The Ministry of Labor will submit to the Government a plan for a 9-day Lunar New Year holiday from February 2 to February 10, 2019.
On the afternoon of May 29, Mr. Ha Tat Thang, Director of the Department of Labor Safety (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs) said that most ministries and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor sent their opinions to the Ministry of Labor agreeing with option one of a 9-day Lunar New Year holiday. This option will give people time to prepare for Tet, and transport units will also serve passengers better," said Mr. Thang, adding that this agencywill propose the Ministry of Labor leaders to submit plan one to the Government for approval next June.
