Many practical activities to support disadvantaged families
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 13, mass organizations had many practical activities to support the poor, such as: Giving wheelchairs to the disabled, families of leukemia patients in Nghia Dan; Giving money and supporting working days to repair houses in Tan Ky.

Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghe An ProvinceTogether with the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghia Dan District, we organized the donation of 30 wheelchairs worth more than 70 million VND to people with disabilities.
This program is sponsored by the FWM Humanitarian Wheelchair Mission, Giving Back to Childhood Organization and the Vietnam Children's Humanitarian Organization.
At the donation ceremony, each person received a wheelchair suitable for their disability and was instructed by officers of the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Nghe An province on how to operate and use the wheelchair to ensure safety and convenience.

At Nghia Dan, Youth Union of Nghia Loc communevisited and gave gifts to Nguyen Thi Khuyen's family in Son Hai hamlet with the amount of 4.6 million VND.
Ms. Khuyen's family is in a very difficult situation. Her son, Nguyen Duc Trong, 11 years old, has leukemia and is currently undergoing radiation therapy at a hospital in Hanoi.

Women's Union of Ky Tan Commune (Tan Ky)gave more than 8 million VND to Ms. Truong Thi Hien's family in hamlet 6 to buy cement, sand and gravel to build the yard and gate.
Ms. Hien's family is in a particularly difficult situation. Her child has congenital heart disease and her husband and wife are often sick.
Along with cash support, the Commune Women's Union mobilized more than 40 women to support working days to help Ms. Hien's family prepare the yard for pouring concrete.
