Many changes after the merger of departments and branches in Nghe An

As reported, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An will implement the project to establish 4 inter-district forest ranger units on the basis of merging 8 district-level forest ranger units under the Forestry Sub-Department into 4 forest ranger units; Implement the project to establish the Agricultural Sub-Department on the basis of merging 2 Crop Cultivation Sub-Departments and Plant Protection, Livestock and Veterinary Sub-Departments; Project to merge Quy Hop Protective Forest Management Board into Pu Huong Nature Reserve.

The Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision to establish the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Civil and Industrial Works in Nghe An Province on the basis of merging the Project Management Boards of the Department of Construction, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Health, Department of Education and Training (Decision No. 678/QD-UBND dated March 10, 2020).

Meanwhile, the Department of Culture and Sports advised the Provincial People's Committee to establish the Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center on the basis of merging the Sports Training and Training Center with the Sports Competition and Services Center, and completing the project to merge the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Heritage with the Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe.

The Department of Science and Technology merged two departments of the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, developed a project to merge the Department of Science Management and the Department of Basic Science Management at the Department of Science and Technology, and proposed a plan to merge the two Centers for Social Sciences and Humanities and Science and Technology Information and Informatics.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment advises the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to establish a Land Registration Office (one level) under the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and to develop a draft regulation on coordination between the Land Registration Office, the Branch of the Land Registration Office with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the District People's Committee, the tax authority and other relevant agencies and units in performing a number of functions and tasks of the Land Registration Office.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs carried out the dissolution of the Home for Martyrs' Relatives.

For the Department of Industry and Trade: Implement the project to merge the Trade Promotion Center into the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center.

Also merged the Center for Enterprise Support and Development (under the Department of Planning and Investment); Trade Promotion Center; Tourism Promotion Center (under the Department of Tourism) to the Center for Investment Promotion and Support of Nghe An province under the Provincial People's Committee.

Vinh City People's Committee issued a Decision to establish Vinh City Construction Investment Project Management Board on the basis of merging Vinh City Construction Investment Project Management Board and Vinh Urban Development Sub-project Management Board. District People's Committees developed a project to establish Agricultural Service Centers: Anh Son, Dien Chau, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa, Tuong Duong.

To date, some of the merged units have been operating stably. Some units are in the process of merging and awaiting announcement.
