This year, the enrollment work for primary level in Vinh city is carried out online. Students who are eligible for universal education only need to access the website.nghean.tsdc.vnedu.vnand follow the instructions to be able to register for admission at home on your phone or computer. Photo: My Ha

For the convenience of parents, in addition to registering online, parents can also come directly to the school to ask for support from teachers. Admissions are divided into separate blocks so that registration can be done quickly. Photo: My Ha

Hung Dung Secondary School is one of the hot spots of this year's enrollment season when, along with more than 589 students in the general education category, the school also accepts 118 students from outside the district from Hung Phuc and Truong Thi wards. These are localities that are implementing the advanced school model, students who do not register to enroll at the ward's school are given the opportunity by the city to register to any school in the province. Hung Dung Secondary School has added 6 classes this year, including 2 6th grade classes. Due to the increase in school size, this year the school has built a new block of 12 classrooms and functional rooms, ensuring that 43 classes can study in the same session. Photo: My Ha

Truong Thi Primary School has just put into use a new classroom area with 16 rooms and functional rooms this year. However, the school's students are still having to continue studying in the old 18 classrooms. For now, from the next school year, students will study 2 sessions/day on weekdays and will not have to make up classes (classes will take turns taking 1 day off during the week and make up classes on Saturdays) like previous school years. Admission information was publicly announced by Truong Thi Primary School. However, many parents are still confused because this year the school will enroll 4 regular English classes, 2 enhanced English classes and 2 STEM classes. Many parents said that because their children are in the first grade, they do not fully understand the enhanced programs, tuition costs and many other reasons for arranging the teaching staff... This is also the reason why, although they can register for admission online, many parents still come directly to schools to ask teachers for advice and support. Photo: My Ha

Despite many innovations, the enrollment of primary school students in Vinh city has always received the attention and concern of many parents, students and schools. This year, the city has reduced 16 classes for primary school but increased 73 classes for secondary school with more than 3,000 students. These are all students born in 2012, considered a good year - "year of the golden dragon". Therefore, the pressure on public schools is very large, especially in ensuring facilities and teaching staff. Because of the sudden increase in the number of students and the increase in class size, 5 secondary schools in Vinh city have changed from class 2 to class 1, namely Quan Bau Secondary School, Hung Binh Secondary School, Trung Do Secondary School, Nguyen Truong To Secondary School and Nghi Phu Secondary School.
In addition to universal enrollment, many families who are workers from other localities, have not registered for temporary residence or do not have a household registration will encounter difficulties when registering for enrollment for their children. To ensure the right enrollment, the city has been very strict with the universalization work every year and there have been hundreds of cases that have been eliminated because of "sending household registration" or registering for temporary residence but not living in the place of residence. Compared to previous school years, this year in the public preschool system, enrollment is "easier" as the number of students has not increased. Meanwhile, the non-public preschool system has 81 more classes. To facilitate parents in difficult circumstances, the city prioritizes enrollment for homeless students, orphans or students whose parents come to reside in the area from other localities, students who have moved from other provinces (children of workers, poor families) and are not eligible for universal education. In these cases, the city requires schools to consider and create favorable conditions to ensure students' right to education. Photo: My Ha
