(Baonghean.vn) - Growing up without the love and care of his mother, now orphaned by his father and having to depend on his uncle, the 8-year-old boy is living a difficult life. That is the situation of Nguyen Quang Thuy (born 2013), Thai Son commune (Do Luong).
Late afternoon, little Nguyen Quang Thuy was helping his uncle feed the buffalo with straw. Uncle Nguyen Quang Hien (Thuy's uncle) in hamlet 6, Thai Son commune, Do Luong said: Thuy is very obedient, after school hours she also helps him herd the buffalo and sweep the house. Since her parents divorced, the father and son have lived in a level 4 house in the church grounds built by their grandmother.

Thuy's father, Nguyen Quang Tam (born in 1978), earns a living by farming and fishing, but does not have enough to eat. For 8 years, he has been a single father raising his children, and life has always been difficult. Recently, in September 2021, he was electrocuted to death while fishing in the fields..
After Nguyen Quang Tam passed away, the responsibility of raising and taking care of Nguyen Quang Thuy fell on the shoulders of his uncle Nguyen Quang Hien. However, Uncle Hien's family is also full of sorrow and suffering, with the eldest son, martyr Nguyen Quang Son, working at the 337th National Defense Economic Group in 2021, buried by a landslide in Quang Tri. The second son, Nguyen Quang Lam, also has a femoral tumor and is in poor health.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien himself has a severe herniated disc, his wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Phuc, has a heart disease, the whole family has to go to the hospital regularly for treatment. While the only source of income is farming and raising livestock, life is very difficult.
However, because of the pity for his grandchild who had to suffer from deprivation and lack of affection since childhood, everyone in Mr. Hien's family worked hard every day to earn extra income to raise their grandchild. Life, which was already difficult and arduous, was now piled on with even more hardship.
Sharing with us, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien sadly said: My wife and I are sick, I am afraid that one day we will not have enough strength to work anymore, then how will Thuy live? Feeling sorry for Nguyen Quang Thuy's situation, in the past few days, everyone in the village has joined hands to support and visit her.

Mr. Hoang Van Co - Vice Chairman of Thai Son Commune People's Committee (Do Luong)said: Nguyen Quang Thuy's situation is very pitiful, she is too young, the pain of missing her mother's love, being orphaned by her father is too much to bear. In the immediate future, the locality will have the responsibility to help, create the most favorable conditions for her to go to school and enjoy preferential policies of the State according to regulations.
Recently, the Youth Union of Thai Son commune has called on households in the commune to support the child in the spirit of mutual love and support, which is a driving force to help the family of Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien and Thuy overcome the difficult days ahead. In the long term, we hope that benefactors will open their arms to help Nguyen Quang Thuy so that she can study and become a useful person for society.
Through this, Nghe An Newspaper respectfully hopes that kind-hearted readers near and far will join hands to help Nguyen Quang Thuy overcome this tragic situation.
