(Baonghean.vn) - Construction units are speeding up the construction progress of Song Lam Nghe An International General Port in Nghi Thiet Commune, Nghi Loc District (Nghe An). It is expected that the first of the four general ports will be put into operation in the first quarter of 2022.

Previously, since 2017, 3 specialized wharves of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company have been put into use, serving large ships with a capacity of up to 70,000 tons to dock and receive goods. The early completion of the remaining wharves will create a potential international specialized and general port area, when the negative (-) seawater depth in Nghi Thiet (Nghi Loc) is from 7-14 meters.
