(Baonghean.vn) - On July 7, the People's Committee of Dien Chau district deployed troops to protect the construction of Dien Doai overpass on National Highway 48 over the North-South Expressway. On the first day of carrying out the task, the authorities did not encounter any acts that hindered the construction activities.

The Nghi Son - Dien Chau expressway construction investment component project under the North - South expressway construction investment project in the Eastern phase 2017-2020 is a national key project. According to the assigned schedule, package XL03 (section Km405+00 to Km419+600 in Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh districts) must be completed before July 21, 2023, and is expected to be technically opened on September 2, 2023 as directed by the Prime Minister. Therefore, to ensure progress, the People's Committee of Dien Chau district organized protection for the construction of Dien Doai overpass on National Highway 48 over the North - South expressway, Nghi Son - Dien Chau section from July 7 to September 1, 2023 - before the technical opening time.
