Saw a car on the left side of the road about to roll away
Roads in rural areas often have many branch roads from villages to main roads, lack intersection signs, and few traffic lights, so there is a great potential for traffic accidents.
If you are about to overtake but suddenly see a vehicle about to leave on the left side of the road ahead and you cannot accurately imagine the size and speed of that vehicle, then stop asking to overtake.

There have been many tragic accidents caused by cars and motorbikes coming out of alleys, drivers suddenly turning the wheel causing the car to flip over or get hit by a vehicle going in the same direction, with unpredictable consequences.
The car in front suddenly slowed down.
When the car in front suddenly slows down, there must be something wrong in front of that car. There are countless situations that can happen.
It could be a collision, an obstacle or a speed limit sign, or simply that the car is about to turn.

If we try to overtake in this situation, the danger is that we cannot see or predict whether an obstacle will appear from the right or left side of the road.
Thus, driving situations become more unpredictable when you have to both step on the gas to speed up and keep your eyes open in conditions where visibility is obstructed.
Seeing a slope without knowing what is on the other side
Along inter-provincial routes, especially in the northern mountainous provinces, you can often come across short slopes.
It is impossible to predict what vehicles are coming from the other side of the slope or whether any vehicles are trying to overtake each other in the opposite direction.

Therefore, it is better to be patient for another 10 - 20 seconds to follow the car in front until it is over the slope and then ask to pass.
For bridge slopes, current law prohibits overtaking while on a bridge, but for road slopes, it is best to go over the slope and then ask to overtake.
At a bend with no destination in sight
Overtaking at a curve where you cannot see your destination without a convex mirror is also extremely dangerous and there have been many tragic accidents for this reason.

A car or a buffalo suddenly appears and you have to brake hard without being sure that the car will stop properly. Speed, inertia and slope can cause the car to swing left and right, leading to a painful accident.
In short, the car in front or the other side of the car is always hiding something from us, keep this in mind.
There is a priority convoy ahead.
Do not attempt to overtake an emergency vehicle and incur costly consequences. Traffic police in most countries severely punish overtaking or failing to yield to emergency vehicles.

So in a situation where there is a priority convoy ahead, be patient and follow behind for a few minutes, until the priority convoy is out of sight, then speed up, if necessary.
