At the same time, some households in My Ly commune suffered landslides due to the rising water level of Nam Non river. Therefore, the District People's Committee directed localities to propagate and guide people to proactively avoid areas at high risk of landslides, in which the most dangerous are households living on the two major rivers Nam Non and Nam Mo, because in recent days, in neighboring Laos, there has been heavy rain and the river water is rising.

When there is a phenomenon of rising water at Huoi Giang stream, people should be evacuated from their homes to a safe place. People living near landslides should proactively evacuate when there is heavy rain.
"Currently, some households in Hoa Son and Son Ha villages have moved to safe places, but there are still some households living in temporary houses on both sides of streams and in areas at high risk of landslides. Therefore, the district has directed Ta Ca commune to arrange forces to be on duty 24/7 to have a plan to evacuate people when heavy rain occurs, especially at night," said Mr. Tho Ba Re.

Mr. Vi Van Truyen - Head of Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune worriedly said that the past few days have been rainy, causing him and the village's Front Committee to lose their appetite and sleep, because they are afraid of flash floods and landslides that will not be able to be handled in time. Currently, dozens of households are living in temporary houses, dilapidated houses right next to streams and areas at high risk of landslides, due to the consequences of flash floods and landslides in October 2022.
