According to records, in Quang Phuc village field, Tam Dinh commune (Tuong Duong), almost all rice sprouted due to being soaked in water for a long time. Ms. Lo Thi Nhan, residing in Quang Phuc village, said: "This crop, my family planted more than 1 sao of rice. The heavy rain caused the rice to be deeply submerged in water. When the rain stopped, I took the opportunity to visit the field and was heartbroken, everything had sprouted. I felt sorry for the loss so I harvested it to feed pigs and chickens." “Before the rain, the rice was still green, I thought we would harvest it in a few days. Who would have thought that the rain for nearly 10 days has caused my family's rice to break and sprout almost 100%. Currently, I can't harvest by hand, I have to pick each flower and bundle them to bring home to feed my animals,” said Ms. Lo Thi Kho, Quang Phuc village.
