The only female student from Nghe An scored 10 in Geography
(Baonghean.vn) - She is a female student from Dien Chau 4 High School. In addition to the only 10 points in the province, Linh also achieved the title of "Salutatorian" of the school.
10 points of confidence
Phan Dieu Linh - a 12th grade A7 student at Dien Chau 4 High School was surprised to receive the news that she was the only candidate in Nghe An province to score 10 points in Geography. This result, combined with the high scores of the remaining subjects, made Linh the "Salutatorian" student of Dien Chau 4 High School in this year's exam with 51.65 points.
Inhigh school graduation examThis year, Geography is one of the subjects that has received a lot of controversy from subject teachers as well as many candidates. Accordingly, many teachers commented that this year's Geography exam had strange questions, outside the textbook program, making it difficult for candidates to choose the correct answer, and there were even questions outside the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade programs. Phan Dieu Linh shared that as soon as she read the exam, she saw that some questions were difficult compared to the knowledge she had learned at school. However, instead of worrying or choosing answers based on "luck", Linh used the elimination method in a reasonable way to come up with her answer.

Linh added about this: The Geography exam had 40 questions and it took me about 40 minutes to complete my exam. The remaining 10 minutes, I checked my answers and adjusted some questions. For me, the two most difficult questions were the question about "the main solution to develop food crops in the Red River Delta" and the question about "Current import value of our country" because the answers given were all highly noisy, easily causing misunderstandings. I myself also gave the wrong answer the first time I answered. However, after reading the question carefully, I gave the correct answer.
Also in this year's exam, one of the questions in the Geography exam that led to a lot of debate was the question of identifying the appropriate type of chart. Accordingly, if in previous years, in this question, candidates only needed to identify 1-2 correct answers, this year they were forced to choose up to 3 answers, making it difficult for many students to choose. To answer this question, Linh gradually found the solution for each different answer. Therefore, although it was a difficult question, Linh said, "I answered correctly from the first time. I think that, with this question, candidates must read the question carefully, analyze carefully and know how to eliminate to find the correct answer."

With a solid knowledge base and a careful and confident way of doing the test, after completing the Geography subject, Phan Dieu Linh thought that she could get a score of 10 in this exam. What surprised Linh was that she was the only candidate in the whole province to get a score of 10 and this was truly a special thing for Linh in this year's exam. Nationwide, out of nearly 1 million candidates taking the exam, only 35 candidates got a perfect score in this subject.
When the teacher "takes risks".
In the first years of high school, in the eyes of teachers and friends, Phan Dieu Linh was a rather strange student. Moreover, she was different from many of her classmates and friends at school because Linh was withdrawn and quiet. Before that, because of her family circumstances, Linh was introverted and shy about communicating. In grade 10, compared to many of her classmates, Linh's academic performance was average and she admitted that she did not stand out much.
The person who noticed Linh's difference was her Geography teacher and also her homeroom teacher in grade 11. Talking about Linh, teacher Tran Thi Thanh Tam added: I was Linh's homeroom teacher in grade 11 and saw her difference compared to her classmates. This also affected her learning, because if the teacher did not ask her questions directly, Linh would not be able to fully express the lesson content.

Although she did not make an impression on her teachers in class, teacher Tran Thi Thanh Tam recognized Linh's potential through her test results, which were very high, mostly 9s and 10s. That was also the reason why in grade 11, she decided to choose Linh to join the Geography team, even though many colleagues said that "this was a risky decision".
The teacher's choice later became a turning point for Linh because she said, "I thought I was not the best student, but the teacher believed in me and gave me a chance to prove myself." Later, thanks to being called to the team, being encouraged and motivated by her teacher and friends, Linh was able to escape from her own pressure and progressed very quickly. In grade 12, Linh and the team participated in the provincial competition for excellent students and won second prize.

Talking about the process of studying and sticking with Geography, Linh said that this is a very interesting subject and through the lessons Linh learned more about the country, people and natural and social conditions that can affect the development of a nation. Besides, through each lesson, Linh formed her ability to analyze, evaluate problems, and integrate the knowledge learned from books into practice.
Meanwhile, teacher Tran Thi Thanh Tam highly appreciated Linh for her discipline, always being on time, doing her homework completely and correctly, and it seemed like she never had to remind her.
Geography is a social subject, but it also includes natural sciences. Therefore, if you only memorize, your test results will only be average. Otherwise, if you want to get high scores, you must do your test confidently, scientifically, and know how to analyze and make judgments.
For Dieu Linh, I think that a score of 10 is not a matter of luck. This is the result of Dieu Linh's own efforts and this is a worthy result for her.
Teacher Thanh Tam - Dien Chau 4 High School
With a score of 10 in Geography and quite high scores in other foundation subjects, Dieu Linh confidently registered for Vinh University with the same desire to major in Pedagogy. This is also the dream that she has cherished since childhood. Linh hopes that with the knowledge she has learned and her love for the profession, she will be able to pass on her passion and motivation to her students. Moreover, she believes that if she is a dedicated and responsible teacher, she will be like her teacher, encouraging her students, helping them overcome difficulties, overcome pressure, overcome their self-consciousness to assert themselves./.
