Female student from mountainous district shares secret to getting 10 points in History

Coming to Nguyen Thi Bao Ngoc's house in village 9, Long Son commune, talking to us, Ngoc shared: I was born into a family of two sisters, my mother is a kindergarten teacher, my father is a businessman. Since I was a child, I have always been aware that studying is the most important thing for my future and my family's, and I have tried to study hard. With my determination and efforts, throughout 12 years of studying, I have always been an excellent student and ranked in the top from elementary school to high school.

Since middle school, Bao Ngoc has been an important "nucleus" in the team of excellent students of Anh Son district middle school (the district's gifted school). In grade 9, Ngoc won the provincial English encouragement prize. During 3 years of high school, Ngoc was continuously an excellent student and won the third prize in the provincial English competition for grade 12. Especially inHigh school graduation exam 2022Ngoc made an impression when she excellently achieved the highest score in the Social Science exam in Anh Son district and ranked 7th in the whole province with 54.7 points. The average score for each subject was over 9 points, specifically: Math 8.2, Literature 9.5, History 10, Geography 8.25, Civics 9.75 and Foreign Language 9.

The results achieved in the exam and during the past 12 years of Bao Ngoc's study are the result of the process of self-study, self-training every hour, every day and absorbing what the teachers taught in class. Ngoc shared: "In studying, to study well, you must have passion. In addition to the time spent at school, I spend time studying on my own. For me, the important thing is to have inspiration in studying and not put pressure on myself but always see studying as a playground, a passion that I must try my best to conquer. In addition, I always know how to arrange my time scientifically and effectively during the day.

Along with mastering the knowledge in class, I spend time accessing the Internet to learn, expand my knowledge, and review the types of questions. In each question, in addition to finding the answer, I also ask myself questions for the remaining methods. With this method, I can consolidate and review a large amount of knowledge in each subject. Particularly with History, the reason I got a perfect score of 10 is because during the learning process, I did not memorize each event but only needed to remember and understand the important milestones of the events and draw lessons. In addition, to study History well, it is necessary to have knowledge about society, learn knowledge through books, newspapers, radio and need to have connections between events.

With such a high score, Bao Ngoc has registered for university entrance exam in 3 subjects: Math, Literature, English with 26.7 points for International Business at Foreign Trade University. In university, she will spend time to improve her English skills to have more opportunities to develop in her future career.

Ms. Hoang Thi Tai, Bao Ngoc's mother, could not hide her joy and shared: Actually, in studying, from a young age to adulthood, Ngoc has been mainly self-taught. Her parents only gently advised and encouraged her, but did not put much pressure on her to achieve high results. When we heard that she was one of the students with high scores in the province, the family was very proud. We only hope that she will always try hard, study hard, and become a useful person for society and help her family.
